More than 157 million Americans will celebrate Halloween this year, with eight in 10 millennials planning something fun with their friends. According to the National Retail Federation (NRF), 2015 consumer spending topped $6.9 billion and included party supplies, costumes and other Halloween goods. Spend levels are projected to reach an all-time high for this Halloween; in fact, NRF expects consumer spending to reach $8.4 billion this year.
